Procurement Governance & Risk Management Lead

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Operational Excellence, the Procurement Governance & Risk Management Lead is a specialist team member responsible for developing and maintaining practical procurement policies, procedures, controls and third-party risk management standards across global operations. The role coordinates source-to-pay governance, contract review workflows, competitive bidding SOPs, risk-based due diligence and audits, standardized templates and tools, and SoD-based management monitoring with quality documentation and digitally traceable controls in partnership with the Procurement Digital Lead.

Working with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Quality and IT, the role supports consistent implementation, monitors control effectiveness and escalates risks and exceptions. It does not assume overall departmental leadership or replace business owners’ decision-making, Legal review or Quality approval responsibilities.
