Linkgas Engineering is a Singapore-based company specialising in fire protection systems and services, supporting projects and customers across installation, servicing and maintenance. As our operations continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our procurement and inventory functions and improve the way we manage purchasing, suppliers and stock.

About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to support our purchasing and inventory operations.

This role is open to both entry-level candidates and candidates with relevant experience. Training will be provided, making this a suitable opportunity for those looking to build a career in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing

  • Source materials, products and services based on operational and project requirements.
  • Request and compare supplier quotations.
  • Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
  • Follow up on orders, lead times and deliveries.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, frieght forwarders and logistics providers on shipping and delivery arrangements.
  • Assist with frieght/shipping documentation and track incoming shipments through to delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on purchasing and delivery requirements.

Inventory Coordination

  • Work closely with the Inventory team on stock requirements and replenishment.
  • Support accurate item, purchasing and inventory records.
  • Assist with inventory planning and stock monitoring.
  • Participate in inventory restructuring and process improvement initiatives.

Supplier & Process Management

  • Maintain supplier and purchasing information.
  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers.
  • Support improvements to procurement and inventory processes and systems.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Projects, Inventory and Accounts as required.


Requirements

  • Minimum GCE O-Level, NITEC/Higher NITEC, Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent.
  • Entry-level candidates and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

Advantageous but Not Essential

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory, warehousing or supply chain.
  • Experience using inventory or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of stock control, inventory planning or replenishment.
  • Experience in inventory/process improvement.
  • Experience in construction, M&E, engineering or technical services.
