Position Overview


We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator position within the Procurement department in Syria office.

The Logistics and Procurement Department serves as a key operational support function for all organizational units by executing diverse procurement requests in line with established policies.


  • Ensured the timely acquisition of goods and services required for project implementation, maintaining expected quality standards and delivery schedules.
  • Contributed to cost efficiency and optimal use of organizational resources.
  • Supported the successful and sustainable continuity of organizational operations and project activities.



Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute purchase requests across various procurement thresholds, including direct purchases, open tenders, and sealed bid processes, in full compliance with organizational policies.
  • Prepare and process all required documentation throughout the procurement cycle, from quotation collection and bid evaluation to contracting and delivery, including invoice translation also, preparing tender contracts and following them up until the completion of the contract, as well as completing the required documentation for financial payments.
  • Communicate with suppliers and coordinate with program teams to ensure contracts are implemented according to plans and timelines.
  • Coordinate fleet operations to support program activities and other organizational departments.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and internal departments to inspect and verify goods during receipt and delivery.




Candidate essential criteria



Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business administration or a relevant field.

Experience: overall 5 years’ experience with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role

Computer Skills: Very Good computer skills especially Excel.

Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English

Desirable Criteria



  • Additional languages are a bonus
