As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, SOPs and e-procurement system improvements.
Streamline procurement processes, strengthen governance and mitigate supply chain risks.
Manage supplier relationships, maintain an approved vendor list and consolidate demand across multiple project sites to achieve cost efficiencies.
Lead sourcing activities, supplier negotiations and contract management to secure competitive pricing, quality and service.
Oversee contract renewals, variations, terms and conditions, and resolve contractual or supplier-related issues.
Manage procurement budgets, monitor expenditure and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Conduct market research, price benchmarking and supplier performance evaluations to support sourcing decisions.
Prepare procurement evaluation reports, management recommendations and audit documentation.
Advise stakeholders on procurement policies and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Collaborate with internal departments on procurement planning, forecasting and inventory requirements.
Lead and develop the procurement team, setting performance objectives and providing coaching and training.
Requirements
Degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent; minimum 5 years’ procurement experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation and cost control.
Proficient in ERP/e-procurement systems, with strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
