As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Identify, evaluate and select suppliers for medical and non-medical supplies, including medications, PPE, food and equipment.
Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing and terms to secure competitive deals.
Ensure timely supply of essential items and oversee inventory control to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Monitor supplier performance, maintain vendor relationships and resolve delivery or quality issues.
Ensure procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations and internal policies, maintaining proper documentation for audits.
Manage procurement budgets, monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality of care.
Prepare procurement reports and conduct regular stock audits.
Oversee front office operations, including call enquiries and visitor management.
Ensure operations staff are properly trained and competent in carrying out their duties.
Work closely with nursing, finance and operations teams to support procurement planning and daily operational needs.
Support urgent procurement requirements and participate in special projects, including contract management and business development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience.
