We are looking for a talented Procurement Manager to join our team at Koch Filter.

Location: Louisville KY - Onsite

Travel: Less than 10%

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leads global sourcing strategies.
  • Provides leadership to cross-functional teams to resolve complex business issues.
  • May manage regional sourcing teams.
  • Defines project scopes, mitigates, risk, and identifies savings opportunities across business units.
  • May also support procurement as it relates to new product development.
  • Implement policies and metrics to ensure the best combination of cost, quality and delivery.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Manages sourcing and purchasing strategies aimed at reducing cost, minimizing risk, and optimizing business processes.
  • Determines and helps businesses manage demand and supplier capacity.
  • Manages regional, category commodity, and/or new product sourcing purchasing teams.
  • Promotes alignment of sourcing purchasing strategy with business unit and supply chain goals.
  • Engages with new product/technology development functions to provide necessary support (Direct) Engages with businesses to support new plant start-ups (CIP) Identifies, plans, and implements continuous improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Validates sourcing and contract activities of sourcing teams.
  • Fosters communication among key purchasing stakeholders across business units and functions.
  • Drives total cost TCO reductions across the entire supply chain.
  • Establishes purchasing target process and oversees teams’ delivery against those targets.
  • Identifies opportunities and leads continuous improvement activities within key processes.
  • Leads, manages and coaches teams; provides active feedback and delivers recommendations for training and development opportunities among staff members

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering.

Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing procurement, handling raw material sourcing or industrial components.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP and MRP software systems (such as SAP or Oracle).

Core Competencies: Strong negotiation, market analysis, and vendor performance tracking

Base salary range: $120,132 to $150,156/year

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, other personal and professional benefits.
