Procurement Manager (f/m/d)

Your Mission:
You drive and execute the procurement strategy for Indirect Procurement and CAPEX, creating sustainable commercial value across the organisation.
You lead strategic sourcing and complex commercial negotiations across indirect spend categories, driving cost optimisation, supplier consolidation and strong commercial standards.
You lead the commercial side of CAPEX investments, from tendering and supplier or contractor selection to negotiation and contracting, in close collaboration with Engineering and Operations.
You apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles to CAPEX decisions, considering acquisition, installation, commissioning, maintenance, service, energy consumption and lifecycle costs.
You drive Procurement Excellence & Governance by continuously improving our Procure-to-Pay framework, procurement policies, contract management, Purchasing Terms & Conditions, supplier governance and ERP master data.
You optimise and automate procurement processes while increasing spend transparency across indirect and CAPEX categories.
You partner with stakeholders across Planted and represent Procurement in cross-functional projects related to indirect spend and CAPEX investments.
You:
Hold a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field, or bring an equivalent vocational qualification combined with relevant professional experience.
Bring 3+ years of relevant experience in Procurement, Category Management or Strategic Sourcing, ideally within the food & beverage and/or packaging industry.
Demonstrate proven experience in strategic sourcing and complex commercial negotiations across indirect spend categories.
Bring experience in CAPEX procurement, construction, production equipment or industrial investment projects as a strong plus.
Apply a strong commercial and TCO mindset to sourcing and investment decisions.
Combine strong analytical skills with a structured, numbers-driven approach and confidently build business cases, commercial comparisons, KPIs and reports.
Demonstrate strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge requirements and collaborate effectively with Engineering, Operations and external technical experts.
Bring advanced MS Office skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems; Business Central is a plus.
Communicate fluently in German and English; any additional language is a plus.
