- Source seafood from wholesalers such as Jurong Fishery Port to maintain consistent supply
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals
- Plan and execute daily procurement strategies to meet demand and optimize inventory
- Ensure seafood freshness and quality by monitoring supplier standards and delivery conditions
- Monitor market price fluctuations to adjust procurement plans and maintain competitive pricing
- Optimize profit margins through strategic sourcing and cost control measures
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in seafood, wholesale, or supply chain management
- Established and strong supplier network within the seafood industry
- Proven negotiation skills demonstrated through successful supplier agreements
- In-depth market knowledge of seafood pricing and trends
