Procurement Manager/Snr Manager [GOVT] | East |Up to $6000/Month
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Procurement Manager / Senior Manager to join our Procurement team. You will serve as a trusted business partner to stakeholders across the organisation, driving procurement strategies and delivering procurement outcomes that are compliant, value-driven, and aligned with organisational objectives.
This role offers the opportunity to shape procurement practices, champion digitalisation and process improvements, and contribute to a high-performing procurement function that supports organisational success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement & Business Partnering
- Partner with Business Units to understand procurement requirements and develop sourcing strategies aligned with organisational goals and procurement policies.
- Provide professional advice on procurement approaches, sourcing methodologies, evaluation frameworks, and opportunities for demand aggregation.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while ensuring procurement solutions meet business needs and compliance requirements.
End-to-End Procurement Management
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including procurement planning, sourcing, evaluation, award, and contract establishment.
- Conduct and administer procurement exercises such as Quotations, Tenders, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Direct Contracting.
- Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with procurement regulations, governance requirements, and best practices.
Procurement Governance & Contract Management
- Prepare, review, and manage procurement documentation, including specifications, sourcing documents, evaluation criteria, approval papers, and GeBIZ transactions.
- Advise stakeholders on post-award contract management matters, including contract variations, option exercises, novations, renewals, and terminations.
- Support audits, investigations, risk reviews, and compliance initiatives while maintaining strong procurement controls and governance standards.
Analytics, Digitalisation & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse procurement data and spending trends to generate insights and management reports that support informed decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process redesign, automation, workflow enhancements, dashboards, and digitalisation projects.
- Promote the adoption of technology and data-driven practices to improve procurement efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience.
Projects & Other Duties
- Lead or support cross-functional projects and other responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in procurement operations, strategic sourcing, contract management, or public sector procurement.
- Experience with government procurement processes and GeBIZ will be an advantage.
- Exposure to procurement analytics, process automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and digital procurement solutions will be an advantage.
