Procurement Manager

Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Muscatine, Iowa (On Site)
Contract length: 4 months
Schedule: M-F 7-3:30pm
Pay: $50-$55 per hour w2

Procurement Manager Qualifications:

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft
• Purchase req and PO experience in SAP
• Overall understanding of how manufacturing plants operate in an ERP system
• Fluent in Excel
• Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED
• 5 to 7 years of minimum experience.

Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

• Review orders - ie. Text only, direct ship
• RTVs - return to vendor parts
• Emails to vendors to acknowledge PO receipt
• PeopleSoft lead time updates for parts
• Pull Bill of Material information from PeopleSoft and compare to inventory
• Run Power BI reports
• Maintain vendor pricing in PeopleSoft
• Approve international shipments to US
• Work with Engineering to manage obsolete part issues
• Manage vendor part number change
• Manage service vendor issues
• Conduct vendor reviews
• Assist with Match exceptions
• Assist Engineering with SAP requisitions
• Create purchase orders in SAP
• Provide Engineering with discontinued part or long lead time information on items that may impact production goals.
• Assist with PID issues, (work orders in PeopleSoft), to help ensure they are working properly
• Assist Receiving Dept. with any PO related issues
