PROCUREMENT NLB STAFF - SH NGANJUK

Job Responsibilities:

* Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, including conducting market research and supplier assessments.
* Support the preparation and issuance of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
* Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any discrepancies.
* Help maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
* Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely material availability.
* Participate in negotiating prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers under the guidance of senior procurement staff.
* Process invoices and resolve any payment-related issues with suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with all company procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
* Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement department.
* Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the procurement manager.

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
