About the Role

Anify Enterprise, a fast-growing Nigerian eCommerce company specializing in home improvement, lifestyle, and consumer products, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage and coordinate the sourcing and purchasing of products and business supplies, ensuring competitive pricing while meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors
• Source products based on company requirements and specifications
• Request and compare supplier quotations and pricing
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery arrangements
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain good vendor relationships
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Conduct market research to identify competitive prices and new suppliers
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Work closely with operations and inventory teams to ensure stock availability
• Report procurement costs, supplier issues, and purchasing activities to management
• Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality

Requirements

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or a related role
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good knowledge of the Nigerian supplier and wholesale market
• Ability to research and compare prices effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with WhatsApp, Google Sheets/Excel, and other basic digital tools
• Ability to communicate professionally with suppliers and vendors
• A degree, diploma, or relevant professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is an advantage (strong practical experience also considered)
