Procurement Officer
Summary:
This role is dedicated to overseeing all procurement activities to guarantee they are executed with full transparency, competitiveness, and strict adherence to organizational policies, donor regulations, and national laws. The position serves as a critical guardian of compliance, responsible for documenting every transaction accurately and analyzing potential risks within the procurement lifecycle. By managing supplier relationships and contract performance, the incumbent ensures that all standard operating procedures are followed, thereby safeguarding the organization's integrity and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Execute transparent and competitive procurement processes while ensuring all activities are thoroughly documented in alignment with RI policies, donor requirements, and applicable national legislation.
- Oversee contract administration and monitor supplier performance to verify strict compliance with established terms, conditions, and RI standard operating procedures.
- Cultivate and manage supplier relationships, maintaining precise and up-to-date records that satisfy both internal policy mandates and external donor regulations.
- Enforce donor rules and regulations across all procurement functions, including specific departmental tasks, while actively identifying and assessing compliance risks throughout the process.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure timely communication of procurement activities and status.
