Procurement Officer
Job Summary: The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for ADNOC-related projects, ensuring timely sourcing of materials and services in compliance with ADNOC standards, company policies, and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Handle procurement activities for ADNOC projects in line with approved vendor lists and ADNOC guidelines. • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms. • Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze quotations, and prepare commercial comparison reports. • Coordinate with engineering, planning, and project teams to understand material specifications and requirements. • Ensure all procured materials comply with ADNOC specifications, standards, and project quality requirements. • Manage purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and ensure timely supply of materials to project sites. • Maintain strong relationships with ADNOC-approved vendors and suppliers. • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance. • Ensure documentation compliance, including contracts, LPOs, and delivery records. • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for material receipt and inspection. • Resolve procurement-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, and discrepancies.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. • Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, with mandatory ADNOC project exposure. • Strong knowledge of ADNOC procurement procedures, vendor registration, and material standards. • Experience in sourcing for civil, mechanical, electrical, and piping materials (depending on project scope). • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Preferred Skills: • Existing network with ADNOC-approved vendors. • Knowledge of UAE market suppliers and logistics processes. • Experience in EPC project procurement
