Are you ready to lead global procurement programs from idea to launch—and beyond? If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, execution, and people leadership, this role puts you right at the heart of it all. As Procurement Project Manager, you’ll drive global GBE programs, lead high‑performing teams, and ensure flawless execution across cost, quality, and delivery. You’ll be the go‑to partner for customer program teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, owning everything from BOM cost to SOP success.
What You’ll Do:
Lead & Grow Talent
- Manage and develop a team of GBE Procurement Project Leaders
- Foster strong competencies, ownership, and continuous growth across the team
Drive Global Programs
- Own and oversee the global GBE project launch pipeline, supported by regional Procurement Project Leaders
- Take full responsibility for program performance (QCD) across NPIs, Mass Production, transitions, and VE/Re‑engineering projects
Be the Procurement Single Point of Contact
- Act with your team as the single Procurement POC for Customer Team Program Managers
- Ensure robust Program MOS and seamless cross‑functional collaboration
Own Cost & Delivery
- Take full ownership of BOM cost from PQF through SOP + 6 months
- Ensure accurate cost alignment with PCL and program targets
Deliver Projects, On Time & At Quality
- Lead procurement engagement across all NPI phases
- Ensure supplier alignment on design changes, timing, and commitments
- Drive key deliverables: prototypes, ODT, PPAP, SOP—on time, at cost, and at quality
- Consolidate and track GBE Procurement NPI performance
Power Strategic Sourcing
- Build an effective GBE Buyers team structure with the GBE Procurement Manager
- Lead sourcing activities (RFI/RFQ) with strong monitoring and governance
- Ensure sourcing plans align with overall sourcing strategies
- Organize and drive sourcing committees and PAC meetings for VE, resourcing, and transitions
Be a Problem Solver
- Actively lead supplier escalations on non‑commercial project issues (e.g. planning, capacity, timing)
- Champion continuous improvement across sourcing, NPI, transition, and VE processes
Track, Report & Improve
- Own procurement project KPIs: BOM cost, AP, milestones, capacity, and quality
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting for GBE and Procurement leadership
- Maintain full project tracking, including PhX sourcing pages for projects under your responsibility
What We Need:
- Experience: experience as a project leader, nice to have: procurement experience (industrial - mandatory)
- Education: University degree in Technology.
- Tools: Excel, Dashboard for Metrics (QCD)
- Knowledge: Manufacturing Process, (Casting & Machining, Stamping, Investment casting, Precision Machining). Basic Knowledge of Costing.
- Language: English
