Procurement Purchasing Coordinator
As our Procurement Purchasing Coordinator, you'll provide end-to-end procurement and purchasing support for Store Development projects by coordinating the sourcing, ordering, delivery and inventory management of fixtures, fittings and equipment.
You'll act as the central point of coordination between Project Managers, suppliers, internal stakeholders and logistics providers to ensure projects are supplied accurately, on time, within budget and relationships are maintained.
This role is essentially the procurement link between suppliers and the Store Development project team — making sure the right things are purchased, at the right price, delivered to the right place, at the right time.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Procurement & purchasing: Coordinate the procurement and ordering of fixtures, fittings, equipment and store development materials, managing POs from order through to delivery and invoice reconciliation.
- Project support: Work closely with Project Managers and the National Project Delivery team to ensure procurement activities align with project budgets, timelines and construction programmes.
- Supplier management: Build strong supplier relationships, monitor pricing, lead times and performance, and support supplier reviews, tenders and onboarding.
- Inventory & logistics: Coordinate deliveries to stores, warehouses and project sites, manage inventory and asset records, and identify opportunities to reuse and standardise existing fixtures and equipment.
- Cost & process improvement: Support cost-saving and value engineering initiatives, negotiate pricing, monitor project spend and identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and outcomes.
- 2–5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, project administration or retail construction support.
- Experience working with suppliers, contractors or procurement systems.
- Understanding of retail, construction, facilities management or store development environments as well as procurement and purchasing processes highly desirable.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting capability.
