Project Overview:
CTS, in collaboration with Technology & Innovation Procurement, requires a senior-level procurement specialist to lead competitive IT procurements, draft and manage contracts, ensure trade agreement compliance, and provide advisory support to project teams and executives.
CTS, in collaboration with Technology & Innovation Procurement, requires a senior-level procurement specialist to lead competitive IT procurements, draft and manage contracts, ensure trade agreement compliance, and provide advisory support to project teams and executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex competitive procurements (RFP, RFQ, NRFP)
- Draft, negotiate, and manage IT contracts
- Ensure compliance with government trade agreements (CFTA, NWPTA, etc.)
- Advise project managers, IT leadership, and executive stakeholders
- Track procurement progress, milestones, and resolve issues
- Support enterprise IT and digital transformation initiatives
Requirements
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field
- SCMP, CPPB, CPPO, CSPM, or equivalent procurement designation
- 8+ years public sector procurement experience
- 5+ years complex competitive procurement experience
- 8+ years contract drafting and management experience
- 8+ years stakeholder advisory experience
- 7+ years government trade agreement knowledge
- 7+ years enterprise IT environment experience
