Procurement Specialist
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including creating and processing Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms, pricing, quality, and delivery while minimizing business risks.
- Lead and support RFQs/RFPs and tender processes, including supplier sourcing, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract award recommendations.
- Manage supplier contracts and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), ensuring timely renewals, contract compliance, and high service standards.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, Delegation of Authority (DOA), and internal governance, while supporting continuous improvement of procurement processes.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve procurement strategies, and ensure access to the best products and services.
- Provide procurement guidance and training to internal stakeholders on procurement processes, systems, and best practices to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor procurement budgets and financial performance, ensuring expenditures align with approved budgets and reporting variances while identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related commercial discipline.
- Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- 5–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, tendering, and contracting, preferably within the ICT, technology, or high-tech industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management, with the ability to review contracts, understand commercial terms, and evaluate costs effectively.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required. Proven ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
