Description

Procurement Specialist – Rossmönster

Longmont, CO · Full-time, on-site · $75K–$85K/year

Every Rossmönster vehicle is built to handle mountain passes, washboard roads, and years of adventure, and every one starts with the right parts arriving at the right time. We're looking for a Procurement Specialist who loves the hunt for the right supplier, can negotiate a good deal, and wants to see their work roll out the shop door as a finished adventure vehicle.

About Rossmönster

Rossmönster started in 2010 as a custom woodworking shop and has grown into a builder of premium adventure vans and overland trucks, including the Havn, Skye, and Baja lines on Sprinter, Transit, and truck chassis. Our team of woodworkers, engineers, electricians, and outdoor enthusiasts builds from a 45,000-square-foot facility in Longmont, Colorado.

We've moved from one-off custom builds toward repeatable production, so we need a strong, scalable supply chain. This role is a big part of building it.

What You'll Do

  • Buy what the builds need. Issue accurate, on-time purchase orders across production, service, and warranty, so parts are on the shelf before a van needs them.
  • Own supplier relationships. Work with a global supply base of cabinetry and hardware vendors, electrical and suspension suppliers, and more. Hold them to consistent quality and on-time delivery, and find new sources when we need them.
  • Shape new products. Partner with Engineering and Production as new models and options are developed, bringing sourcing, cost, and lead-time insight early.
  • Cut cost and lead time. Find savings with suppliers without compromising the quality our customers expect.
  • Fix what slows us down. Spot bottlenecks that affect production or service schedules and build better processes.
  • Stay ahead of risk. Flag single-source parts, long lead times, and supplier issues before they stop a build.
  • Let the data lead. Use inventory and purchasing data in Arda and Google Sheets to make smart decisions.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of supply chain or procurement experience, with strong supplier relationship and sourcing skills
  • Hands-on ERP or inventory system experience: creating POs, item receipts, item and vendor records, and inventory adjustments with the right financial details
  • A track record of building relationships with new and existing suppliers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to juggle priorities without dropping the ball
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication

Nice to Have

  • A degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience planning inbound shipments from suppliers
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specs, plus a basic understanding of manufacturing process controls and quality assurance
  • Familiarity with NDAs, terms and conditions, and piece price agreements
  • Experience with Arda and Google Suite
  • Experience in automotive, RV, or vehicle upfit manufacturing
  • A passion for the outdoors, vans, or overlanding

The Details

  • Location: Longmont, CO, on-site Monday through Friday
  • Reports to: Logistics Lead
  • Pay: $75,000–$85,000/year, depending on experience
