Procurement & Supply Chain Manager (100%)

  • Local Procurement Leadership: You act as the primary procurement and supply chain point of contact in Iceland, supporting both Mammoth and Orca projects on-site.

  • Operational Procurement Support: You support project procurement activities, category management, MRO purchasing, and coordinate ad hoc logistics to ensure smooth operations.

  • Sourcing & Tendering: You run RFQs and RFPs, conduct supplier evaluations, lead negotiations, and prepare pre-award recommendations to drive best value outcomes.

  • Contract Management: You oversee post-award contract administration, including expediting and supplier performance follow-up to ensure timely delivery.

  • Supplier Base Development: You build, develop, and manage a robust local supplier network for industrial services, MRO, site support, and logistics.

  • Supply Continuity: You ensure uninterrupted supply by proactively managing risks, resolving supplier issues, and maintaining strong relationships.

  • Process Improvement: You continuously improve local procurement ways of working, enhancing efficiency, compliance, and collaboration across teams.

  • Education & Experience: You hold a Bachelor’s degree or bring equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, operations, or business, and have 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, MRO, category management, or project procurement.

  • Procurement Expertise: You have strong hands-on experience in RFQ/RFP management, supplier evaluation, negotiations, purchase order execution, and supplier relationship management (SRM), experience with SAP as an ERP system is a plus.

  • MRO & Operational Know-how: You understand MRO procurement processes and can operate effectively in project-driven or industrial environments.

  • Mindset & Approach: You are a self-starter with strong communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset, able to prioritise and perform under pressure.

  • Languages & Mobility: You are fluent in English and open to around 10% travel, mainly within Iceland with occasional trips to Zurich.
