Producer Intern (Social Media Content)
About the Role
UNMUTE is looking to expand our content production team with a driven and organised Content Producer Intern who is passionate about social media and bringing creative ideas to life.
This role focuses primarily on pre-production, where you'll help turn creative concepts into well-planned and executable shoots. From scripting and talent sourcing to coordinating logistics and communicating with clients, you'll work closely with our creative and production team to ensure every project is properly prepared before cameras start rolling.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative and organisational sides of content production and wants hands-on experience producing social media content for a variety of brands.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Pre-Production Planning — Main Scope
- Develop and refine content ideas based on client briefs and objectives
- Write scripts, storyboards and other pre-production materials
- Prepare shot lists, production schedules and call sheets
- Coordinate shoot requirements and ensure projects are ready for production
- Keep track of project timelines and key deliverables
2. Talent Sourcing & Coordination
- Source and shortlist suitable talents for different projects
- Communicate with talents regarding availability, requirements and shoot details
- Coordinate talent schedules and ensure necessary information is communicated before shoots
3. Production Logistics
- Coordinate locations, props, products, equipment and other shoot requirements
- Manage logistical arrangements leading up to production
- Work closely with the production team to ensure everything required for the shoot is prepared
- Assist with on-site production coordination when required
4. Client Communication
- Communicate with clients on project requirements, timelines and production arrangements
- Gather the necessary information and materials required for content production
- Coordinate feedback and ensure updates are communicated clearly between clients and the internal team
5. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with videographers, editors, designers and other producers
- Participate in brainstorming and creative discussions
- Stay updated on social media trends and contribute fresh content ideas
- Support the team across projects where required
Requirements
- Diploma student or Diploma holder in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field
- Preferably 1 year of relevant experience in content creation, media, production or a related field
- Strong interest in social media content creation and production
- Comfortable with scripting and developing content ideas
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Confident in communicating and coordinating with clients, talents and team members
- Proficient in Google Workspace (e.g. Docs, Slides and Sheets)
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, responsible and willing to take ownership of assigned projects
Good to Have
- Previous experience in social media or video production
- Experience sourcing and coordinating talents
- Basic understanding of video production and on-set workflows
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or other Adobe Creative Cloud software
- An eye for social media trends and engaging short-form content
