Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority based in West Midlands, are looking for an experienced SEND Case Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Information & Systems Technology operations.

Position: Product Analyst & Tester (Information & Systems Technology)
Rate: £18.10 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temp (Feb 2027) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid/Fully Remote

Purpose:

• Provides an opportunity to contribute to key product support, data configuration, deployment coordination, mobile and microsite testing, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication activities during the temporary assignment. The individual will also help ensure continuity by documenting processes, findings, and recommendations, and by supporting an effective handover at the end of the assignment.

Job Responsibilities:

• The primary focus of this role is to provide first-line support, assist with product deployment initiatives, manage data configuration, conduct comprehensive mobile app and microsite testing, and identify opportunities to improve product functionality and user experience.
• Setting up and maintaining product data, validating configuration changes, investigating user issues, documenting and tracking defects, and executing thorough testing protocols for mobile applications and microsites across various devices and platforms.
• Provide first-line support to users, investigating, documenting and resolving product and system-related issues.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Experience in product or application support, software testing, quality assurance, data configuration or a similar role.
• Experience maintaining and validating structured data and carrying out functional testing.
• Experience testing mobile applications, microsites or digital products across different devices and platforms.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
