Product and Regional Risk Manager
You lead risk management for a regulated entity by conducting product and regional risk assessments, maintaining risk frameworks and reporting, embedding risk considerations into product development, monitoring emerging regulatory risks, engaging with regulators, and promoting risk awareness across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and maintain risk assessments and RCSAs across product lines
- Perform risk assessments for regional entities
- Maintain the enterprise risk taxonomy, risk appetite framework, and KRI reporting
- Own and oversee the regulated entity risk management framework
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report material risks
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams on product risk considerations
- Identify and escalate emerging risks
- Use GRC tooling and data analytics to support risk monitoring and automation
- Monitor digital asset regulatory developments
- Engage with the Central Bank of Ireland and other regulators
- Prepare risk reporting for senior leadership, committees, and governance bodies
- Contribute to risk training and education
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise risk management or a related discipline
- Experience in financial services, fintech, crypto, consulting, or audit
- Understanding of risk frameworks and risk assessment methodologies
- Experience conducting risk assessments and RCSAs
- Familiarity with digital asset markets and MiCAR regulatory obligations
- Experience leveraging technology, automation, and data-driven approaches
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Finance teams
- Knowledge of the crypto and digital assets landscape
- Experience using a GRC tool
