Product and Solutions Analyst - Full-time, PermanentKey Responsibilities:The successful candidate will play a key role in executing initiatives within the Asset Management team.The role spans product structuring, fund establishment, disclosure and regulatory support, assisting with client and institutional engagement, hedging, and operational process improvements across wholesale and retail funds.New Fund Establishment:Support the senior product team members and collaborate with internal stakeholders on fund launches.Responsibilities may include:Assisting in understanding and articulating the investment thesis and fund rationale alongside the investment team.Supporting collaboration with investment, marketing, and distribution teams on fund positioning and materials.Contributing to timeline planning and execution for fund launches and capital raises.Assisting with the preparation and review of internal committee and board papers.Coordinating with accounts, legal, and investment teams on documentation and settlement.Supporting investment teams in navigating the fund establishment process.Conducting market research and competitor analysis.Manage Fund Disclosure and Associated Operational Processes:Collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare and refresh disclosure documents and marketing materials.Assist senior team members with managing external counterparties and service providersFacilitate effective and rigorous verification of disclosure documents.Educate distribution teams and stakeholders on disclosure requirements.Work with compliance, finance, and investment teams to ensure products meet emerging disclosure regimes and other regulatory changes.Understand, interpret, and operationalize regulatory guidance.Work with compliance, finance, and investment teams to operationalize products, including:Formalizing new policies in a fund lifecycle.Ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., FSC) and client expectations.Managing emerging regulatory requirements (e.g., DDO requirements) and associated change management.Collaborate with the investment team, regional distribution teams and legal to prepare responses to platform/institutional investor queries on the fundsClient and Business Development Support:Act as a key contact for institutional clients, supporting timely communication, reporting, and investor queries.Assist with the preparation of marketing materials, presentations, RFPs/DDQs, and formal campaigns for new opportunities.Coordinate internally to address client needs, support solution design, and ensure a high standard of service.Maintain client records, update CRM systems, and manage datarooms for sharing key documents and updates.Organise and coordinate client meetings and events, ensuring smooth delivery and effective presentation of the firm’s capabilities.Hedging and derivatives managementAssist in the development and execution of hedging strategies across multiple asset classes (e.g.,FX, interest rates)Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports on, mtm, hedge effectiveness, P&L attribution and risk metricsMaintain and enhance automated tools (e.g., Excel VBA, Python scripts) for risk calculation and reportingEnsure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirementsSupport in trade execution: generating trade tickets, confirming deals and collateral with counterparties.Support Asset Management for the TeamMonitor market trends and assess their impact on hedging strategies, wholesale and retail funds.Streamline policies and procedures, particularly interactions with the investment team, Legal, and Finance.Support operational risk and compliance through control self-assessment, advising on internal controls, and managing audit requests.Monitor obligations against trustee, investment management, and other requirements.Advise on fund governance, including delegations and Investment Committee approval processes.Manage and support asset reviews and reporting.Oversee fund wind-ups and fund changesLead product-related and asset management-wide technology implementations.People and CultureRole model and encourage supportive, collaborative and positive team cultureEmbody the MA Financial Drivers of Character Matters, Better Way?, Edgehas a Formula and Co-Creators of ValueQualifications:Skills and experienceStrong influencing and negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (including VBA/macros) with strong analytical skills, familiarity with Python, is a plus.Good written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with complexity and under pressure / fast paced environmentExcellent attention to detailA self-starter with strong problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of hedging instruments and derivatives, with the ability to support analysis, execution, and reporting across FX and interest rate exposuresAbout MA Financial Group:MA Financial Group is a global alternative asset manager specialising in private credit, real estate and hospitality.
