Product Control Lead

The Product Control Lead will safeguard financial integrity across on-chain and off-chain trading activity, manage reconciliations for spot and derivative portfolios, build control frameworks, support regulatory reporting, and partner with trading, risk, engineering, data, accounting, and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliation of principal trading positions across internal records, exchange APIs, and custodians.
• Design and implement controls for settlement, valuation, reporting, and new product readiness.
• Automate reconciliation and trade-reporting workflows using data and engineering solutions.
• Prepare regulatory filings and support audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Act as a cross-functional partner to trading, risk management, engineering, accounting, and finance.
• Translate data breaks and accounting treatments for executive stakeholders.
• Identify process gaps and improve operational scalability.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in Product Control, Middle Office, or Fund Accounting supporting principal trading or derivatives desks.
• Experience supporting post-trade activities and complex derivative products.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Understanding of derivatives valuation mechanics, Greeks, lifecycle events, settlement, and collateral management.
• Experience designing control frameworks and managing reconciliations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Autonomous, detail-oriented, analytical, and effective with executive stakeholders.
