Product Customer Support
Job Description:
The Product Customer Support position is responsible for providing aftermarket support for company products by utilizing knowledge of product line equipment to assist dealers in securing replacement parts in the market/territory. You will advise dealers on the availability of conversion parts and assist dealer and/or customer to solve problems associated with replacement parts.
Responsibilities:
Manages quotations, processes and expedites orders through distributors and direct end-users through the helpdesk
Expedite open parts orders and manage backlog
Work with other internal departments to correct parts manuals, prints, inventory and pricing
Support historical information by maintaining records on distributors and products that are at the fingertips of all aftermarket team members
Understands competitor products and pricing to identify sales opportunities
Work cross functionally with all Terex MPS team members including buyers /planners/engineering to ensure customer satisfaction
Participates in creation and implantation of distributor score card and review process
Develop and maintain recommended parts list for equipment based in distributor’s area of responsibility
Assist with new product launches through NPPD process
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of customer service experience
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree
Heavy equipment experience
Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point
Understanding and Reading Parts Manuals
Understanding and Reading Prints
Oracle experience
Possess strong communication and customer service skills
Possess a strong team concept
