Product Cybersecurity Auditor (m/f/d)

As a Product Cybersecurity Auditor (m/f/d), you are responsible for the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity audits, assessments, and compliance reviews across the MAHLE organization.

  • Support organizational units in ensuring auditability and compliance by providing guidance on audit and assessment requirements as well as best practices
  • Prepare, coordinate, and support customer audits, certification audits, and regulatory authority audits
  • Assess the compliance, effectiveness, and maturity of the Product Cybersecurity Governance Framework against relevant standards, regulations, and internal requirements
  • Perform cybersecurity KPI, metric, and maturity analyses and provide transparency regarding implementation and compliance status across the organization
  • Monitor and track corrective and improvement actions resulting from audits, assessments, and compliance reviews
  • Monitor compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements and report non conformities, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare management reports and decision-making materials on audit results, compliance status, maturity levels, risks, and improvement actions
  • Support continuous improvement and lessons learned activities and derive improvement measures for the further development of the Product Cybersecurity Governance Framework
  • Maintain and continuously improve audit, assessment, and compliance evaluation methodologies, including related templates and guidelines

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Successfully completed university degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, natural sciences, or a related discipline, ideally with a Master's degree, Diploma, or PhD
  • Professional experience in the automotive industry is desirable
  • Experience in the planning, execution, and evaluation of audits, assessments, and compliance reviews is desirable
  • Sound knowledge of relevant cybersecurity standards, regulations, and frameworks, particularly ISO/SAE 21434 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at project, business unit, and management levels
  • Ability to analyze complex organizational, technical, and regulatory topics and derive appropriate conclusions and recommendations
  • Excellent English language skills; German language skills are desirable
  • Structured, analytical, self-driven, and results-oriented working style combined with strong organizational skills
  • Confident and professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external auditors, assessors, customers, regulatory authorities, and certification bodies
