As a Product Data Engineer, you will ensure that all customer product data is complete, accurate, and properly structured to support efficient production and engineering processes. You will analyze technical documentation, manage product and component data, perform BOM (Bill of Materials) conversions, and contribute to Design for Logistics (DfL) activities.

Working closely with customers, account managers, engineering teams, and production departments, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition from customer design data to manufacturing execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer data packages for completeness, accuracy, and technical consistency.
  • Communicate with customers and account management teams regarding missing information, discrepancies, or technical questions.
  • Upload, structure, and maintain product data within internal systems, ensuring availability across all relevant departments.
  • Convert customer BOMs into internal manufacturing BOMs and create new component records where required.
  • Verify component availability, lead times, specifications, and sourcing information.
  • Perform Design for Logistics (DfL) analyses and support continuous improvement initiatives within data and engineering workflows.
  • Contribute to process optimization and data quality improvements throughout the organization.

Your Profile

We are looking for a junior to medior-level professional who enjoys working with technical information and has an interest in electronics manufacturing.

Requirements

  • MBO4 or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Junior or Medior level experience.
  • Good understanding of electronic assemblies, PCBs, and electronic components.
  • Comfortable discussing technical topics with engineers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience within EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) or production preparation is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and digital data processing.
  • Fluent in Dutch and proficient in technical English, both written and spoken.
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, pragmatic, and a strong team player.

What Makes This Opportunity Attractive?

  • Work within a modern high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Be part of projects involving advanced electronic products and systems.
  • Strong collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in product data management, BOM engineering, ERP systems, and electronics manufacturing processes.
  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).
  • Both direct employment and detavast (temp-to-perm) constructions are possible.
  • Based in the Eindhoven region, one of Europe's leading technology hubs.
