Product Data Manager

We're looking for an experienced Product Data Manager to take ownership of one of our most valuable business assets: our product data.
This isn't an IT role. It's a hands-on leadership position where you'll ensure the information that underpins our products is accurate, consistent and available across the business, from concept through to production, service and eventual retirement.
You'll work alongside Design, Production, Compliance, Sales and Marketing to ensure everyone is working from the same trusted source of information.

What you'll be doing
- Leading the governance of product and component master data.
- Managing product information throughout the product lifecycle.
- Driving data quality, consistency and continuous improvement.
- Working with ERP and related business systems to improve how product information is managed.
- Supporting new product introductions and product changes.
- Leading our Technical Publishing function to deliver accurate product documentation.
- Identifying opportunities to automate, simplify and improve data processes.
You'll enjoy solving problems, improving systems and bringing order to complexity. You're equally comfortable working with detailed data and collaborating with a wide range of people across the business.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience managing product master data or product information.
- Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or technical environments will be highly regarded.
