Summary
The Product Definition Analyst 3 analyzes business requirements from airline customers to design functional specifications and perform feasibility studies. The role involves end-to-end testing, data analysis using SQL and BI tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and alignment with business needs.

Analysis
- Analyse business requirements written by airline customers and Amadeus Product Managers
- Conduct the functional analysis, propose viable solutions.
- Perform feasibility studies.
- Participate to requirement refinement sessions with airline customers
- Understanding & acquiring datasets that align with business needs.
Design of functional specifications
- Write documentation for product specifications or functional studies.
- Collaborate closely with the team members with an agile mindset, make sure development activities are in lines with the specifications. Prepare adhoc documentation whenever needed by developers to make sure development can be fully aligned with expected functionality
Functional test and maintenance of the software
- Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
- Ensuring the quality of the data produced from data pipelines to be used in the applications.
- Write Test plan and execute test cases.
- Review and validate airlines’ brush test to make sure expected behaviour is in line with functional solution developed
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik, to create meaningful reports and dashboards.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
- End to end testing, support to airlines
- Support end users during acceptance phases. Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst.
- Support Amadeus Implementation teams to implement related products for airline customers
- Test and maintenance of the software. Ensure production integrity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven recommendations to support their goals.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis as requested by the business to address specific questions or concerns.
- Implement data quality checks and processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Create new data validation methods and data analysis tools.

About the ideal candidate:
· University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
· Proficient in English as the team is fully international.
· Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a bonus.
· Experience delivering end-to-end analytics projects, transforming vague requirements into impactful stories accessible to diverse audiences, leading to clear business outcomes.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
· Ability to work with large and complex datasets
· Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex data findings.
· Collaborative individual with a mindset suited for a multi-cultural, international organization and time management skills.
· Experience in the software development lifecycle (including product design, coding, testing, version and configuration management, security, and Quality Assurance) relevant to the functional area.
· Knowledge of Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
· Experience in data modeling is a plus.
· Knowledge of Airline business is a plus
