Product Delivery Manager
Posted Updated
Description
Own delivery across OLOID's products: turn customer and product asks into committed, predictable releases. PDMs are not tech leads but will understand product scopes, customer priorities and will be able to guide product teams with structured release plans and schedules. The PDM will run product scrums, take ownership of backlog grooming and interfacing with customer-facing teams, product architects and product management teams to define work items and ensure timely deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- The shared twice-weekly intake with customer-facing teams; triage with PMs, who keep the final rank.
- Doing a first-principles review of Backlog JIRAs with architects and PMs to ensure no ambiguity in assigned specs.
- Release plans, sprint cadence, dependencies and the risk register for assigned pods.
- Go/no-go coordination with QA, the architect and the PM.
- Routing of Sev-1 and Sev-2 escalations, and follow-through until the fix ships.
- Status to U. S. and customer-facing teams, and a written delivery playbook shared across pods.
Requirements:
- Delivery, program or release management for B2B software products with real, regular releases.
- Demonstrated ability to work in complex products/projects.
- Great communication.
- Work with diverse teams and customers.
- Good grasping skills, including use of new AI tools and demonstrated problem-solving.
- Prior experience in IAM and/or broader cybersecurity will be a plus.
- A technical background, credible with architects on dependencies and release risk, without a tech-lead role.
- Leads through influence; strong Jira use and delivery metrics (cycle time, planned vs shipped, escaped defects).
- Works across time zones with U. S. teams and writes crisp status updates.
