Product Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Product Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Mumbai region of Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and a passion for developing innovative products. As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of new products, focusing on plastic product design and tooling. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet both functional and aesthetic requirements while adhering to project timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define product specifications and requirements. - Utilize CAD software such as Creo and AutoCAD to create detailed design drawings and models. - Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to ensure product viability. - Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts. - Work on new product development (NPD) projects from concept through to production. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the design process. - Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during the production phase. Required Skills: - Proficiency in mechanical design principles and practices. - Experience with CAD software, particularly Creo and AutoCAD. - Strong understanding of new product development processes. - Knowledge of plastic product design and tool design methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
