Product Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Implement design activities such as New Product Introduction, Line Expansion, Design Changes, etc.
• Product includes battery cells for Power Tools (PT), Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE), Battery Backup Unit (BBU).
• Design Review & Standardization for quality improvement including yield & productivity.
• Support quality trouble investigations including cell performance risks assessment.
• Perform cell analysis for cell design verification & evaluation or defect root cause investigation. Analyse engineering tests results.
• Perform task or project assigned and to guide and lead new assistant engineers or technicians.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Engineering / Physics / Chemistry.
• 2 years of experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, project management skills, and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active.
• Positive attitude in challenging work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft office. Familiar with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, JMP, SPC, DOE, Statistics, are added advantages.
• Able to work at clean room & dry room (0% humidity) (Line Trial or Sample Making).
