Description
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed part designs using CAD software, ensuring compatibility with factory production capabilities.
- Perform CAE simulations, bench testing, and risk assessments to validate prototype strength and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of design modifications, test results, and compliance requirements for continuous improvement.
- Partner with Purchasing, Sales, Quality, and Production teams to ensure smooth transitions into mass production.
- Provide hands-on engineering support at the manufacturing plants to resolve issues and optimize processes.
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for customer inquiries and support.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assembly design, and drafting.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and create engineering and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS, particularly in Structural and Thermal Analysis.
- Good understanding of metal manufacturing processes, including press punching, stamping, forming, and heat treatment.
- Experience in product validation, engineering testing, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
