Product Design Engineer / 製品設計エンジニア
Our Team
Our division is responsible for the design and development of new micro BtB connectors, mainly for the Mobile market including Smartphones, Tablets and AR/VR. Customers are mainly
overseas. There are some opportunities for online meeting with overseas customer and overseas business trip.
Engineering 1 has approximately 40 people working in the same organization with design teams not only in Japan but also in Korea and China. Our team consists of 8 engineers in 20s to 40s. In some cases, we also collaborate with design teams in China and Korea to create an environment which we can grow and thrive in a diverse environment.
What You Will Do
1. Create and consider a product concept based on project planning
2. Determine products specification or design and presentation to customer
3. Fix appropriate products(connector) design with design development tool (FEA and so on) based on project planning
4. Establish appropriate mass production process by collaboration with ME and QA team
5. Support product launching at mass production plant (domestic or overseas)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
・Degrees in Science and Engineering
・At least 5 years of experience in product development work for an electrical/electronic component manufacturer
・Experience in 3D CAD design
※ 3D CAD type is not required
・Japanese：Native Level
・English：Beginner Business Level
What Will Put You Ahead
・Comfortable with English
(Even if you are not fluent in English but willing to learn it on your own, it is acceptable)
・Interested and knowledgeable in the electrical/electronic components and mobile
・Interested in manufacturing
