Product Design Intern
About Autohive
Autohive is the hub where people and agents work together. Low effort, real processes, hours returned.
The Opportunity
At Autohive, interns don't sit on the sidelines. As a Product Design Intern, you'll contribute to real product and marketing work designing interfaces, building prototypes, and creating assets that ship. We're after a creative, detail-obsessed intern who cares deeply about how things look and how they work.
You'll work across both product and marketing, gaining rare cross-disciplinary experience in a fast-moving AI-powered startup. If you love crafting polished visuals, care deeply about user experience, and want to have an impact in a modern, AI-forward environment, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to product interface design across web and mobile
- Build wireframes and interactive prototypes, progressing toward high-fidelity mocks
- Actively contribute to the Autohive design system learning it, using it, and suggesting improvements
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure design intent is faithfully implemented
- Explore and adopt AI-assisted design and prototyping tools allowing you to ship what you design
- Design and iterate on marketing assets: landing pages, emails, banner ads, and campaign visuals
- Champion brand consistency across every touchpoint, from product UI to marketing campaigns
What We're Looking For
- Enrolled in or recently completed a design-related degree (Product Design, Graphic Design, or similar)
- Curious and passionate about AI, actively exploring how AI tools can make you a better designer and incorporating them into your everyday design process
- A portfolio that shows design thinking and strong visual sensibility demonstrating how you approach problems, not just how things look
- Enthusiasm for brand, typography, and visual design craft
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to pixel-perfect outcomes
- Self-starter mindset, you ask questions, take initiative, and manage your own tasks
- Interest in SaaS products and the intersection of design and AI tooling
- Collaborative and adaptable across a cross-functional team
