Product Designer
Summary
The Product Designer will build and maintain modular design systems and create complex onboarding flows for a fintech company. The role focuses on conversion-driven design, rapid prototyping, and close collaboration with engineering teams to scale product identity infrastructure.
About the Role
This is a Product Designer role sitting at the heart of product strategy at a fintech company building global business identity infrastructure. You'll join a design team alongside experienced leaders from high-growth fintech and mobility companies, where exceptional design is a core competitive differentiator — directly influencing user conversion and retention.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain a modular design system that powers both live product implementations and Figma prototypes.
Design complex, multi-step onboarding flows tailored to modular customer needs.
Apply a conversion-focused mindset by measuring, testing, and iterating on every step of the user experience.
Prototype quickly and systematically, validating ideas through customer feedback and rapid iteration.
Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end engineering teams to ensure designs translate seamlessly into production.
Help shape design culture by establishing standards and foundations that scale with the team.
What We're Looking For
4–6+ years of experience designing complex products or workflows, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise tools, fintech, or compliance-heavy environments.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining modular design systems across live implementations and design tools such as Figma.
Proven ability to design complex, multi-step onboarding flows with a conversion optimization and A/B testing methodology.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to translate designs into production.
Comfort designing for complex business logic, regulatory requirements, or compliance workflows.
Strong systems thinking — you see beyond individual screens to long-term design structure.
Analytical rigor — you treat user journeys as testable, optimizable hypotheses.
Clear communication skills: you document decisions, trade-offs, and learnings for cross-functional audiences.
Experience establishing design standards and culture within growing design teams.
Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) methodologies and analytics-driven design validation is a plus.
Location
Fully remote. Visa sponsorship is not available.
