Product Designer

Summary

Design AI-native RMM/MDM tools for MSPs: complex dashboards, agentic AI UX, and end-to-end feature ownership in a fast-growing platform.

Flamingo is building an AI-native platform for MSPs. Our core product, OpenFrame, is an RMM/MDM: device management, monitoring, scripting, ticketing, and reporting, with two AI agents built in. Fae handles client-facing support, Mingo works alongside technicians and can execute actions across the platform. This is a large, data-dense system used daily by technical people, and it is growing fast.

We are looking for a designer who enjoys exactly that: complex domains, lots of moving parts, and full ownership of the work.

What you will do
Own features end to end: understand the domain, define the flow, design the UI, write the copy, and hand off to engineers directly.
Design for a technical audience: MSP admins and technicians who live in dashboards, device lists, alerts, and logs. Density and clarity matter more than decoration.
Design agentic AI experiences: how Mingo proposes and executes actions, how Fae escalates to humans, how users trust and control automation.
Work within and extend our existing design system.
Collaborate directly with the engineers in a fast, low-process environment.

What we expect
5+ years in product design, with at least some of it on complex B2B, enterprise, or developer-facing tools.
Portfolio with real case studies of data-heavy interfaces: dashboards, admin panels, monitoring, internal tools, or similar. Show us how you handled complexity, not just how it looked.
Strong Figma skills. You will inherit and evolve a living design system, not start from a blank page.
Ability to learn an unfamiliar technical domain quickly. You do not need MSP experience, but you need to be the kind of person who reads the docs, asks engineers questions, and maps the system before designing.
Self-management: you plan your own work, flag risks early, and deliver without being chased.
Strong written English for UI copy and specs.

Nice to have
Experience designing AI agents, copilots, or automation UX.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, security, or DevOps concepts.
Frontend awareness (what is cheap vs expensive to build).
