Justworks is seeking a capable Product Designer with strong user interface design expertise, a passion for UX, an intuitive sense of product, and a deep desire to work on something meaningful.

The ideal candidate will:

have a strong aesthetic sensibility

have a demonstrable track record of success designing new features or products

care deeply about delighting end-users with a simple and intuitive user experience

have thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality products/services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast

enjoy brainstorming ideas and solutions, then trying them out

be comfortable working within an existing visual system and having the opportunity to extend and evolve it

be detail oriented and sweat the little things that make a product beautiful and easy to use

handle feedback well


Responsibilities

Design product features, flows, and interfaces

Design mockups with various possible implementation solutions for a feature or product

Write in-app copy that is both straightforward and warm.

Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product's interface

Promote usability best practices

Work cross-departmentally and always uphold the Justworks brand.

Qualifications


A portfolio demonstrating functional, simple, and delightful user interfaces

3 to 5 years visual, UX, and/or product design experience

Expertise with the Adobe design suite, primarily Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

A deep understanding of interaction design and UI patterns

Strong communication skills


Bonus Points

Proficient at writing modern HTML, CSS, and Javascript (and working in a professional development environment)

A great sense for copywriting, tone, and humor

Proven experience building and improving visual design systems
