  • Create sketches, high-fidelity designs, motion concepts, micro-interactions, and interactive prototypes.
  • Guide design work from early exploration through implementation and final release.
  • Contribute to and evolve scalable design systems, maintaining consistency, accessibility, and visual quality.
  • Present and validate design concepts with teams and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and other partners throughout the design process.
  • Use modern design tools, emerging methodologies, and AI-assisted workflows to support creative exploration and iteration.
  • Respond effectively to changing priorities and demanding timelines while maintaining high design standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of digital product design experience delivering software across consumer platforms, including TV, mobile, web, or connected devices.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design skills across UX/UI, interaction design, motion, micro-interactions, and visual execution.
  • Experience taking products from early concepts through final release, including leading 0-to-1 initiatives.
  • Deep experience using, contributing to, and evolving scalable design systems with attention to consistency, craft, and accessibility.
  • Ability to communicate and validate design concepts through sketches, high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and executive-level presentations.
  • High proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools, with the ability to visualize, test, and iterate on complex ideas quickly.
  • Experience incorporating AI-assisted tools and emerging design methodologies into daily workflows.
  • Experience working in collaborative, iterative design environments that involve constructive feedback and continuous refinement.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including presenting design work and rationale to large teams and senior leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing connected experiences across hardware capabilities, physical peripherals, and digital software interfaces.
  • Familiarity with or interest in emerging interfaces, spatial computing, ambient displays, conversational UI, and multimodal input.
  • Understanding of how machine learning and intelligent models can support contextual interfaces, dynamic discovery, and adaptive personalization.
  • Experience designing living-room or non-touch 10-foot interfaces, such as tvOS, smart TVs, game console interfaces, or remote-driven hardware systems.
  • Ability to build consensus and advocate for user-centered design decisions with engineering, product, and business partners.
  • Passion for Apple, its design philosophy, products, and customers.

Salary & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $216,200–$324,800. Actual base pay will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
