About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Product Designer (UX/UI) to design intuitive, scalable, and visually polished experiences across web and mobile products.

This is an end-to-end product design role combining UX research, product thinking, UI design, prototyping, and design systems. You’ll work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to turn user needs and business requirements into experiences that are easy to use and ready to build.

We’re looking for someone who thinks beyond individual screens and understands user journeys, flows, systems, and product outcomes.

UX Research & Product Design

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and behavioral analysis
  • Translate insights into user flows, journey maps, personas, and workflows
  • Identify friction points and opportunities to improve the product experience
  • Use product analytics such as Mixpanel or Amplitude to inform design decisions

UX/UI Design & Prototyping

  • Design responsive experiences across web and mobile
  • Build polished, modern interfaces aligned with SaaS best practices
  • Deliver production-ready designs primarily using Figma

Design Systems

  • Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries
  • Define standards for typography, spacing, colors, components, and interactions
  • Maintain consistency across product features and platforms
  • Partner with Engineering to improve design-to-development workflows

Testing & Optimization

  • Conduct usability testing and iterate based on user feedback
  • Support A/B testing across layouts, flows, and interactions
  • Use behavioral data to improve usability, engagement, conversion, and retention
  • Design with accessibility and WCAG 2.1 principles in mind

Product & Engineering Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product lifecycle
  • Deliver clear specifications and developer-ready assets through Figma Dev Mode or similar tools
  • Review implementation and help maintain design consistency

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of Product Design or UX/UI Design experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating:
    • UX problem-solving
    • Product thinking
    • Strong UI craftsmanship
    • Responsive web/mobile design
  • Strong proficiency with Figma
  • Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems
  • Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and responsive design
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering teams
  • Availability to work U.S. business hours
  • Based in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, or Mexico

Nice to Have

  • SaaS, consumer app, or enterprise product experience
  • Experience scaling component libraries and design systems
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar analytics tools
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
  • Experience using product data to improve conversion or retention

What Success Looks Like

  • More intuitive product experiences with reduced user friction
  • Improved engagement, usability, and customer satisfaction
  • Consistent adoption of the design system
  • Smooth, accurate developer handoffs
  • Design work delivered on schedule
  • Fewer implementation issues and unnecessary design revisions

Why Join?

  • Fully remote opportunity
