Our mission is to deliver a scalable, privacy-friendly messaging platform that powers meaningful customer engagement and drives lifetime value across Apple Services. The internal Messaging Platform team is focused on empowering our partner teams across Apple Services including iCloud, Apple Music, Apple TV, App Store and more. We’re seeking a senior product designer to help elevate and evolve the user experience of our suite of products that enables our users to plan, manage, and publish personalised customer communications across Apple Services. This designer will be responsible for creating information dense, engaging web experiences. They can who move fluidly from early concept through to high-fidelity execution.

You'll work within a small engineering team, translating ambiguous business requirements into well-framed problems and turning them into interfaces that hold up under real, complex workflows. You use AI-powered tools to accelerate research, evaluate directions, and build functional prototypes. You communicate decisions clearly to partners across Engineering, Product, and Senior Management, distilling complex systems into clean, defensible solutions.

You should excel at working through iterations and feedback, and be a natural collaborator with strong communication skills. Your work isn’t done until it's shipped. You have a bias to action.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field
  • A systems thinker with proven product design experience, including complex workflows, enterprise/B2B SaaS with demonstrated ownership of ambiguous problems end to end
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools as an active part of your workflow, including AI-assisted prototyping to produce functional, testable artefacts
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric thinking, research and polished UI craftsmanship
  • Proven experience of collaborating effectively with engineering and product teams, with clear examples of how design requirements were communicated and implemented

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced technical environments with changing priorities and requirements.
  • Natural interest in how things work behind the scenes
  • Hands-on and self-driven, comfortable with sustained ambiguity, and you get it done without waiting to be told
  • Experience running design sprints and producing design artefacts that captures the problem from experience maps to user flows
