Description

★Why this business exists
Brain sensing hardware has become good and cheap. What the user gets back from it has not. Today's brainwave devices sense well and respond poorly, which leaves an industry full of sensors in search of a use case. We build the response half, we validate it, and we license it.
Myndland by ExeBrain designs brain health programs that B2B partners deploy under their own brand. A brain health program is a guided workout for the brain: a sequenced, multisensory experience that moves a person into a target state such as calm, focus, recovery, sleep, or memory. We bring the design and the proof. The partner keeps the product, the brand, and the customer.
Our programs are designed by clinical psychologists, validated against brain activity through years of hands-on brainwave practice with patients, and protected by 10+ patents.

★The role
One sentence: you run the company's internal operations, and you run them as a system of agents rather than a pile of tasks.
That is the whole job, and the breadth below follows from it. A licensing business generates a lot of recurring, rules-bounded work: hiring pipelines, vendor and procurement cycles, compliance evidence, partner diligence, contract and filing calendars, reporting. Most companies absorb that work by adding people. We would rather you absorbed it by building something.
You will not be building alone. You are paired with an engineer who writes the code. You own the process, the design, the guardrails, and the result.
This is an individual contributor role. As the company grows, what you build becomes a function, and you are the natural person to lead it

★How the work actually goes
◆Find the bottleneck. Pick a process that is eating a person's week.
◆Redesign before you automate. Understand it well enough to rebuild it, because automating a bad process just makes it fast and wrong.
◆Draw the line. Decide what a person still needs to do and what should not touch a person at all, and move that line as the tooling improves.
◆Specify it, then build it. Define it precisely enough that your engineer can build it, and build it together.
◆Put a check on the end that the system cannot fake, so you know it is working without watching it.
◆Own the outcome, not the automation. If the metric does not move, the agent does not count.
◆Then do it again somewhere else.

♥Where you will point it
◆Hiring: Sourcing, screening, scheduling, coordination, and offers.
◆Procurement & Vendors: Quotes, renewals, spend tracking, and supplier relationships. You handle commercial discussions while agents manage logistics.
◆Compliance & Data Governance: Evidence collection, control monitoring, and security diligence across SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA, and Taiwan/Korea regulations.
◆Reporting & Internal Systems: Data hygiene, tool stacks, and automated dashboards for pipeline, delivery, and compliance.
◆Contracts, IP & Regulatory Support: Clause comparison against playbooks, obligation tracking, deadline calendars, and audit readiness.

♥What we offer
◆Compensation: Competitive salary, equity, and full benefits tailored to your location.
◆Dedicated Engineering Support: A paired engineer to build your designs, plus support to build tools yourself.
◆Leadership Path: Direct line to leading operations as an executive.
◆Domain Expertise: High-value experience running a regulated health tech IP business.

♥How to apply
Email ralph.huang@myndland.com. Share one process you rebuilt to reduce manual involvement: what it was, what changed, and how you measured success. Include your CV or portfolio of past builds. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
