We are seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to join our Strategy & Partnerships team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our product portfolio, drive innovation, and contribute to strategic business growth in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Product, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing and managing Adica's suite of insurance products. Working closely with internal stakeholders and strategic partners, you will identify market opportunities, improve customer outcomes, and ensure products continue to meet evolving customer, partner and business needs.

This role plays a key part in delivering Adica's strategic priorities through product performance, customer value creation and sustainable growth across existing and emerging distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, enhancement and lifecycle management of Adica's insurance products and customer propositions.

  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs and industry trends to drive product innovation and growth.

  • Develop business cases and recommendations that support strategic product initiatives and commercial outcomes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and strategic partners to deliver product enhancements, launches and customer-focused solutions.

  • Monitor product performance and recommend improvements to optimise customer value, profitability and portfolio growth.

  • Support the delivery of Adica's product strategy and roadmap through innovation, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in product development, product management or portfolio management.

  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.

  • Experience delivering customer-focused products and solutions.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.

  • The ability to translate strategy into practical and actionable product initiatives.

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

Highly regarded:

  • Experience within insurance, financial services or automotive industries.

  • Knowledge of product governance, distribution models and regulatory environments.

  • Experience supporting digital product development and customer experience initiatives.

  • Experience preparing business cases and governance submissions.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Insurance or a related discipline.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Highly regarded

  • Qualifications in insurance, product management or project management.

  • ANZIIF qualification or equivalent industry accreditation.
