Summary

Leads the product vision and strategy for critical business platforms, translating business needs into roadmaps while aligning stakeholders and mentoring product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the long-term product vision and strategy for critical business platforms and digital products.
  • Translate business priorities, customer needs, operational requirements, and technical considerations into clear product roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Establish and monitor product success metrics, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, customer outcomes, and operational performance.
  • Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders across business, technology, operations, and external partners to secure alignment, prioritise investments, and manage dependencies.
  • Develop deep expertise in the product domain, serving as a trusted advisor on strategic decisions, risk considerations, and product direction.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance product capabilities and team effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive recruitment and succession planning efforts, helping to attract, retain, and develop future product leaders.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from discovery and strategy through delivery, launch, optimisation, and continuous enhancement.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX/UI, research, data, and operations to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.
  • Ensure products meet high standards of quality, security, compliance, accessibility, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of product management, product leadership, or related experience, preferably within large-scale digital, enterprise, platform, or technology-driven environments.
  • Proven success in leading the delivery of complex products or platforms that have generated measurable business and customer outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence executives, align diverse stakeholders, and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, including experience navigating complex organisational structures and managing multiple internal and external partners.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience building, managing, mentoring, and scaling product management teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience leading large-scale platform modernisation, digital transformation, system migration, or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Exposure to highly regulated industries such as logistics, supply chain, construction, infrastructure, financial services, or similar sectors.
  • Experience improving business processes, operational efficiency, compliance frameworks, or digital service delivery.
  • Prior technical or engineering background, particularly involving enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, or large-scale web-based systems.
  • Familiarity with modern product development practices, agile methodologies, and cloud-based technology ecosystems.
