Summary
Designs, prototypes, and validates industrial products, documents specifications, and supports manufacturing and quality processes in a factory setting.
Pay Range: $25.60 - $37.00 per hour

Summary/Objective |
|
The Product Engineer supports Engineering by controlling product design information and documentation. The Product Engineer is responsible for designing and developing new and existing products, validating equipment, and purchased product/material, and data collection with respect to applications and field use. This position involves design and prototyping of new products through coordination with Sales and Engineering staff for customer expectations and requirements. The Product Engineer will support Process Improvement and Corrective Actions as needed. Assists in developing and documenting procedures, work instructions, and flow charts. Provides technical support and expertise. Has an intimate relationship with existing products, product development and improvement, and product support. |

Work is generally performed in an office environment with controlled heating and air, with standard office equipment available. The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection. |
