Responsibilities

  • Understanding of different raw materials

  • Knowledge of refractories, ceramics and metallurgical process

  • Leads new product development projects to provide improved product performance or value

  • Designs and carries out experiments in support of new product development projects

  • Identifies and implements improvements in R&D tests, processes and equipment to yield a safer working environment and better quality R&D results

  • Collaborates with internal colleagues and external scientists and follows technology advances in literature, conferences and trade shows

  • Cooperate with purchase department and production on both raw materials and finished goods

  • Technical support on products trial in customer site

  • Collect the experimental data at customer and make report

  • Capability to translate the application issues into scientific languages

Profile/Competencies

Education, background, level of experience

  • Master degree or above in refractory, non-metallic inorganic material, or materials science

  • above 2 years of experiences in R&D or technical support on site in Aluminium, Foundry Industry

  • Good skills of computer and office

  • Ability to write English report and thesis

  • Accept travel

  • Ability to work independent, and good communication skill

  • Honest and hard working

  • Ability to cooperate with the rest of the team members and colleagues

  • Ability of creative thinking
