The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Engineer to join our Product Portfolio Management team. You will play a crucial role in managing the lifecycle, requirements, configuration, and roadmap for the solutions in the Control Engineering discipline. This role is embedded within the Engineering function, ensuring close collaboration to deliver business relevance. Location is Västerås, Sweden.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Translate market and engineering needs into Product Requirement Specifications and drive the roadmap in coordination with the Global Product Manager and Global Product Specialist.
  • Facilitate smooth implementation of new technologies within the Control Engineering discipline.
  • Prioritize and drive strategic improvement in the current Control Platforms.
  • Lead the development and implementation of modular Control Engineering solutions.
  • Monitor solutions and provide guidance in tenders and projects to ensure knowledge transfer and feedback-driven improvements across global Control teams.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of Control Engineering solutions and deliverables.

Your Background

  • Hold an M.Sc. in Engineering, with a specialization in Power Systems, Control System, automatic control theory, software engineering or similar.
  • 10+ years of experience in Power Systems in the fields of Control Applications, HMI, SCADA, Network and Cyber Security.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and leadership abilities.
  • Experience working with diverse and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in product management is highly desirable.
  • Strategic and operational mindset with a focus on business productivity and efficiency.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
