Product Engineer, Full stack
Summary
Build and ship full-stack features for healthcare products serving patients, pharmacies, and providers using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Express.js.
We are looking for a Full stack Product Engineer to help bring products to life from the ground up. You’ll work across both the frontend and backend, collaborating with the product team to ship features rapidly, while balancing speed and quality. You’ll ensure that our 3P Products (Patients, Pharmacies & Providers) across both web & mobile run efficiently, meet user needs, and scale as we grow.

- Work closely with stakeholders to build and improve product experiences for customers.
- Build & maintain both frontend and backend features across our 3P products (Patients, Pharmacies, Providers).
- Ensure high performance, efficiency and scalability of applications
- Continuously improve team culture, processes and development standards.
- Maintain a consistent shipping velocity to meet product goals and timelines.
Requirements
- 2+ years software development experience across both frontend and backend.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js, with experience in React for frontend and Express.js or similar for backend.
- Experience with React Native is recommended but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated evidence working with a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in performance and scalability challenges.
- Experience shipping live products with at least one live product actively in use.
- Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- High agency, sense of urgency & curiosity.
Bonus points for:
- Previous experience in healthcare
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Testing tools like Jest etc.
NOTE: This role is Remote with a strong preference for candidates in Lagos.
