Product Engineer
- Discover and define product problems facing users

- 3+ years of software development experience
- Expertise in architecting and maintaining RDBMS systems
- Expertise in creating and implementing scalable systems
- Passion for building user-facing products
- Passion for talking to stakeholders to help understand the problem landscape
- Ability to weigh tradeoffs and communicate about them
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excitement with a startup environment (working proactively, contributing to product strategy, and persisting through challenges)
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Startup experience
- Experience with Python/Django, HTMX, React, Typescript, and Postgres
- Experience in the education sector (elementary teaching, school leadership, instructional design, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
